Brenda finished her degree of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy as Cum Laude from the Cebu Institute of Technology University. She later passed the CPA Board Examination and worked as an Audit Associate at PwC (Isla Lipana & Co.). She was assigned to clients from different industries, such as manufacturing (one of which is a publicly listed entity), broadcast communications and entertainment, retail and distribution, branch offices and subsidiaries of MNCs, PEZA registered entities, and shipping.

Brenda also worked as a Senior Accountant for an outsourcing company providing bookkeeping services to Australian companies. She was not only exposed to Australian government reportorial requirements but also gained further experience in providing value added services to clients which guided them in their business decision making. In addition, she has led a team handling the full accounts bookkeeping and compliance of the BIR reportorial requirements for a PEZA registered entity.
